We're partners of 7 years who have been living and working in Portland since 2009. Autumn works at a preschool teaching 3-5 year olds art and gardening while Stephen works at a food bank. In their spare time Stephen enjoys role playing games,

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After staying with someone during the 2010 Winter Olympics we've come back to this profile to hopefully give back to the community. We have a puppy a bit prone to barking so while we're not offering our abode for lodging we're excited to help show people around or give tips on what to do in the city.

Music: Practically any flavor. MGMT, Snow Patrol, Green Day, Tegan and Sara, Daft Punk, Radiohead, and really, just about anything else under the sun. Music is music and that's what matters.

Books: We're two entirely too well read nerds. Gabriel Garcia Marquez, John Green, John Knowles, AE Housman, Douglas Adams, Ray Bradbury, George Orwell, Kerouac, Kurt Vonnegut, DH Lawrence, and many many more.

Movies: Away We Go, Smart People, Hard Candy, Kinky Boots, Jurassic Park, Big Fish, Dead Poet's Society and movies along similar veins.

Autumn: traveled the Oregon Coastline, dissected a human cadaver, caught a friend from falling down a cliff, and built a snow dragon.

Ross: lived in the south of France for a short time, pretended to be Scottish, learned to windsurf.

Autumn's most random hobby is stop-motion animation which she both appreciates in terms of creation and watching. You'll never be able to watch a Tim Burton/Henry Sellick movie or Gumby the same way again.
