I live in a small off-grid community in northern Canada . I love hosting folks on our property, we've got a wall tent, a camper, or vehicles to stay in and lots of space in the woods to pitch a tent. Depending on the season we raise pigs and chickens and have gardens and a greenhouse. There's always tons to do! We love hosting folks who are down to pitch in.

I recently graduated from butcher school and my best friend and I started a small business on our property; We raise pigs and slaughter and butcher them ourselves as well as produce meat products like sausages, bacon, etc.

I'm very fun and energetic, laugh a lot and am a good conversationalist (if I do say so myself ;) haha! I really like meeting new people because I find it so fun that even if we're really different there's always something to connect over, everyone is so interesting in their own way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it's an amazing community, I always meet super interesting and like minded people! I've been part of couch surfing for many years now, I host, I surf, and also just love meeting up with other travelers.

Interests

I spend a lot of time out in nature and live to be in the mountains, it's definitely where I'm happiest. I love dancing, it's the physical way we experience music and music is so strongly connected to culture. I've got lots of energy and love connecting with new people, I'm generally curious about people so like to listen and learn. And finally, I love experiencing a new place through food.
