ABOUT ME

I am a loving and understanding smartass with a rebel attitude toward life. I usually do what I want because its my life. I respect others right to live their lives the same. I enjoy a good book,or a quick motorcycle ride down the freeway. I am open to experience. How else could I decide what I wanted out of life. As a general rule I am kind and helpful. It brings me great joy. So why not? : ). I enjoy taking care of those I love. My friends are my family, and my family are my friends.

With a smile on my face and a warm heart I have played tour guide, cook, care taker and friend for my lovely couch surfers.

So far I have nothing but wonderful times with the people I have hosted. Two thumbs way up for this site! If I had more thumbs I would use them too : )

Interests

Well that could be a very long answer. Things that grab my attention are things that stimulate my mind. I find that my heart also guides me too. My heart is the fuel for my minds conquests. Philosophy, art, health, nutrition, food, children's development, nature, society and its structure, science. The list can just go on and on. I use my time easy like, though I do like to get things done. I like a balance I suppose : ) I spend my time exercising, reading, drawing, learning french and Russian in my free time. I like to dance and love to cook. I like sharing time with loved ones and meeting new people along the way. I enjoy exploring new areas and making myself at home there. Conversation is big with me and I love to laugh. I think laughing is my favorite thing to do. A sense of humor is key to me!

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as music goes I used to be a Metalhead, so it will always be dear to my heart! I have branched out into other areas of music. I enjoy classical, soul, trip hop,meditative, as long as it has a good beat I'm open to it. I like to dance so a good beat is a must.
Books that I enjoy are ones that expand your mind. I love to learn and grow in a positive way everyday I can. So I enjoy books that encourage that.
I am an observer by nature, so I do enjoy movies for the perspective change they give me. I enjoy good acting and a good story. One that catches my attention and allows me to sit back and just observe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1st one was seeing my friends baby be born. I was filming it and as soon as Cali came out into the world, I cried on the spot. It shocked me because I was fine one moment and the next I was overwhemled with the beauty of life.

2nd would have to be bunjee jumping in Costa Rica. It was ever more frighting then skydiving because you have to jump face forward, all by yourself. You just have a cord strapped to you waist and feet. It not humans 1st reaction to jump off bridges with water rushing below. So that was definitely an experience that I would repeat anytime I could. I love a good thrill.

It is hard to choose all the times I have felt in awe of life. I have had many. I suppose the 3rd would be seeing,experiencing and understanding the simple elegance of life. That all things are inter-depenant on each other and with out that fact, life wouldn't be as rewarding, thrilling and wonderful as it is. It is a work of art that you create and it amazes me daily.
