About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi, I am a college graduate currently working as an ESL teacher. I love traveling and as of Jan 2, 2012 I will be occupying a spot in Benxi, China.  My couch is always open, and I'm always willing to meet for coffee or a drink.

PHILOSOPHY

I am not wealthy enough to be the 1% or hopeless enough to follow the 99%. What I want can't be measured by posters or paychecks. It can only be measured by the smile on my face at the end of my life. I decide my own fate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couches are much more comfortable when they're free! If you like extreme sports such as rock climbing, kayaking, or base jumping then we will get along great! I also write and read constantly. Men, Women, and groups are always welcome to crash at my place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Got hammered drunk several times in my couch surfing experiences. Might as well do that again, right?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got lost trying to find Dracula's Castle in Romania. Ended up getting drunk with some Irish travelers after finding it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Am I the only person on this Web site that eats meat? It seems like every one is a Vegan. I don't really care one way or the other, but this is the first time that I've felt like a minority because of that fact. In fact, many of my best friends are Vegans. Guess its just a trait common in fellow travelers.
