Just like the fact that private messages don't matter either.

'make yourself stand out'
Just so i can sleep aan another persons couch?
Besides, how special can it get? We're all traveling, we're all looking for a place to stay because hostels/hotels are too expensive for budget travelers.
Also, the last 50 messages I've send to hosts were personally written. 40 didn't respond, 3 responded with 'no I'm sorry' and 7 just declined without even sending a message.
The use for this app is obsolete.

I'll always be down for the events that are organised through CS. Meeting fellow travelers, going for fun dinners, learning new crafts. That's something I'll always benefit from.
As for the 'sleeping-on-peoples-couches' idea, not interested anymore.

If I pauze my travels next year, I'd be happy to put my apartment back up for guests!
