Hello everyone! My name is Adrian. I am a 22 year old graduate from the University of Florida in the US. I have recently been accepted into the pretigious Fulbright Research Award and will be spending a year in Barcelona researching the developmental biology mechanisms behind cancer. I am completely new to CS but I am always up for an adventure and to try new things!

I am on CS because I not only want to meet new people, but I also want to share experiences with them. I want to get to know the locals and the foreigners of a city and everything the city has to offer. Through Couchsurfing I can tell that I will be making lifelong friends all accross the world and nothing is better than having someone wherever you go.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

One of the most amazing things I have done is volunteered with pediatric patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at my university. It truly is an amazing feeling for myself, the families, and the kids when they get to go home after months or sometimes years of living in the hospital. Many of the kids in this unit are waiting for heart or lung transplants so they are in the hospital for long periods of times, and I am so glad to be able to offer them a source of consistancy during their inconsistent lifes.

Although as of now I have a small foot injury, I can definitely teach you how to play many sports. I play at a club soccer (futbol) team and although it has been a few years since I swam, I also used to swim competively!

I would truly love to learn how to dance or any other sports!

I can share so many experiences that make me who I am. I am half peruvian and half japanese, and those cultures have combined to make me who I am today. I tend to be really open and talkative about who I am, so ask away!
