I just have a completely normal life in a small flat together with my girlfriend and the long-time try to finish finally my master thesis.. but you know, sometimes I just need some time away from home and the daily life. That's why I love to travel, alone, together with friends and family to places I discover using public transport, hiking, cycling or hitch hiking. First time I was traveling alone I spent 3 weeks hiking in scotland and UK on my own.
Other things you should know about me. I love board games, especially being very mean in them, trying to win :-) and swimming regularly, love organise things such as diners and events, in my spare time I invite friends over to taste my cooking skills.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first time I traveled by couchsurfing in Poland, but I was unsure and had to be persuaded to try to travel this way, but I experienced it as an amazing, uncomparable way to travel as you get to know a town differently, being in touch with locals you see places and get to know the culture you would have never seen or known otherwise. Until now, I always traveled with my girlfriend Sonja, but now as I want to travel again on my own, I decided to open an account myself, for references you can have a look at her profile.

I have seen every movie Michelle Pfeiffer ever made and I am still a great fan of her. Otherwise I like reading science books about social work and social politics, I am not so much a novel reader, but I read almost every book from Stephen King, I like listening to Alanis Morisette and Roxette.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have spent 7 amazing months in Mongolia, mostly working in the capital, but also buying a car and discovering the country by driving and sleeping in the tent somewhere in the nowhere. At the end of my stay I was traveling to Switzerland by train passing through Russia, Estland, Lithuania, Latvia and Poland. Being on a one month journey, experiencing the cold winter of the north.
