Overview
About Me
I've lived in Texas for most of my life, primarily in Austin but also in some of the surrounding smaller towns. I've always been adventurous to the extent I was able to with with the obligations I had as a teenager and now I would like to do some real traveling before it's too late and I have too many responsibilities.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been doing a lot of research on ways to travel with minimal expenditure as far as places to sleep, food to eat, and transportation from one destination to another. Couchsurfing is one of the most widely known and has a great reputation, I also couldn't agree with the cause that it supports more. It seems all about helping one another out no matter what kind of position they are in, whether it be traveling or you're just down on your luck and need a place to crash for a few nights, it's a great idea and a fantastic website to enable it.
Interests
I love the outdoors, stuff like hiking, swimming, biking, kayaking, and I've always wanted to go scuba diving and sky diving. But I also really like movies and video games as well as socializing with new people. It's hard to find an animal that doesn't grow on me as I've lived with cats, dogs, rats, mice, snakes, birds, ferrets, and a lot of other critters.

Music, Movies, and Books
The genre of music I like the most is classic rock. Stuff like Danzig, Dio, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and pretty much anything along those lines. I also like at least a little bit of anything else. My favorite author is Franz Kafka, second is George Orwell. "B" horror movies are probably my favorite, the most recent movies I've seen that I liked were Kingsman and Chappie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I remodeled Paul Mitchells' two story pool house when I was 17.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really enjoy cooking with people and learning new techniques or collaborating on meals.
