Hi, I am a history student from California but I'm studying in Florence for a year. I want to meeting as many people and see as much as I can while I'm in Europe. I enjoy hiking, reading, and trying new food. So far the best thing I've eaten in Europe has been meatballs in Stockholm. I will try anything once, and if I don't like it I'll try it again just to be sure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing so that I can meet new people while I go to amazing places all over the world. I hope that I can take something new away from every place I stay and leave a little of myself behind as well. I hope to get a locals perspective on their own city instead of trying to just use guidebooks to show me where to go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped sail a catamaran from Belize to Honduras, then from Honduras to Panama where we went through the Panama Canal and finished our voyage in Guatemala.
