Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A generic tourist experience can be easily fulfilled by the dozens of travel agencies out there, easy come, easy go; but the best way to truly get to know a place is to see it from a local's perspectives and that is how I want my trips to be. Not just simply to gain and take away an experience but hopefully leave a trace in someone's else life too.

Interests

Judo - there's nothing as thrilling as facing a well-matched opponent; the feel of the adrenaline pumping and at the end of the day, be it a win or loss, the satisfaction that you get from walking off the matt, no matter how spent, knowing that you have challenged your personal limits and have done your best.

TCGs (Hearthstone & Mtg) - there's an inner hoarder living within the depths of each of us. The shiny foils, meticulously drawn gorgeous art, sheer anticipation of each pack opening is just incredibly addictive.

Reading - Fiction, Non Fiction, Autobiographies, Scientific Papers, it's a ride to the end once i'm hooked.

History - Confucius once said, study the past if you would define the future. Learning the lessons of history saves us the trouble from repeating the mistakes.

Cooking - half the fun is in experimenting with new ingredients, the other when you sate your hunger.

Travelling - My wander lust is only sated by the moments in which my breaths are taken away.
