Overview
About Me
As a free human being I choose to:
- work as a pharmacist (my current part time job).
- practice sport (the other half of "job"): fitness, running, trekking (in the cold season) / cycling, trekking, climbing (during the warmer months).
- develop and improve in the field of psychology and medical sciences.
- be passionate about philosophy and natural sciences; music, art and history are also among my hobbies.
- learn from ohers every day and teaching others when necessary.
- finally, but not the last - TRAVEL - during my trips I discovered the importance of "Respect, Understand, Learn"; I try to remember this while travelling and also in day by day life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First af all, because I like to travel. Then, because I like to share experiences and knowledge with others, and I find this platform very useful to do this, both as a guest or a host.
The best places I've stayed in were, actually, at people's home, no matter the degree of confort. Every time I had the oportunity to find such an accomodation, I had a strong feeling of warm, familiarity, a feeling of being ... home. In this way I also had the oportunity to meet and know new people, which is one of the most important aspects of my journeys.
I'm new on the platform, but it also seems to be pretty efficent in matter of reducing the costs of a holiday and investing more energy and money in aspects that really matters (if there is a match, of course, between the host and the guest).
