Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted many people, sometimes just a night, sometimes several. My first experience at couchsurfing was in Jordan a several years ago, since then I have surfed here in Australia, Jordan, Russia, England, Estonia, Georgia, Iran, Austria and Finland.

Interests

My interests are split between outdoor activities like walking, climbing, cross country skiing and travel and my interests in technology and music and cooking. I train by running, kayaking, swimming. I tinker with electronics, amateur radio and computer software. I have music on almost all. I enjoy cooking a good meal and sharing it with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too difficult, perhaps climbing in the Himalayas, working in the Antarctic, a ski race, some software I wrote to solve a difficult problem or the view from a mountain top.
