Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Absorbing. There is so much to engage in and I want as much as will fit
ABOUT ME
I'm from Toronto, and currently live there. I'm a photographer and I want to see and create as much as I can.
I very much feed off of change and nervous energy. I get restless quite easily and an urge to find all the things I haven't found already. I'm infinitely curious about all the people around me. I don't have a clear grasp on what it means to focus.
PHILOSOPHY
I want people to create. I'm obsessed with change, but also the re-use of old things to make something new. I'm in love with destruction, but only when it turns into something beautiful. I don't even care if I'm involved, I just want it to happen. If I can help out, even better.
Otherwise, I just try not to be a dick. I feel like that's a major goal in life. Daily.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to meet some others. One day if I ever own a domicile with more than one bed and floor space that isn't comparable to a storage locker, I would very much like to help someone else out in a town new to them.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Only a few times, but both have been more than welcoming. I am incredibly grateful to all the people I've met and traveled with. Excited for the future
Interests
any sort of creative outlet. it mostly takes up most of my time.
photography, film, music, writing, drawing, painting. probably close to in that order
i also like to take apart things, and maybe fix them

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Any time I can get a chance to go out into the natural world I'm happy. City dwelling is great, but you lose your sense of scale. The world seems small, and you seem big. Anytime I can correct that by looking at what happens when, we don't happen, I think it's pretty amazing. Most recently the French countryside. I used to travel a lot within Ontario, but that memory is getting older now.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you would be interested in learning something photographic I would be more than happy to help out. I've studied photography, both formally and informally over the past 5 years. Experienced in both digital and analog techniques.
