I'm a pretty down to earth guy that loves to travel and meeting new people. Which is great because I have to travel a lot for work. Really into dive bars and local restaurants. I've heard good things about this site so I figured I would check it out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to the couch surfing community but the weekly meetups in Dallas have gone great. Everyone is really friendly and have great tales. Looking forward to my first actual couch surfing experience :-)

Pretty big movie buff. Always on netflix and rotten tomatoes- Blockbusters, Art House, Foreign, Documentaries, you name it.. Old Boy, Kick Ass, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Infernal Affairs, The Weird World of Blowfly, Jim who Lives at Home, Ruby Sparks, The Dark Knight, Inception, VHS, Cabin in the Woods, I could go on and on so lets just leave it there.

I'm open to all types of music. I've been teaching myself piano so I've been listening to a lot of artist like Stevie Wonder Elton John. But am also into newer stuff like Childish Gambino and M83.

Some of the books I've read recently, Malcolm Gladwell's The Outliers, Freakenomics, and Tracy Morgan's I am the new Black.

Amazing thing I’ve done? It’s definitely odd to describe ones actions as amazing. But I’ve done skydiving before, and I have to say that is quite an adrenaline rush. Definitely a nice bucket list item. And I would describe stand up comedy as one those bucket list things that can give you a euphoric feeling.

I actually used to be terrified of public speaking. When in high school, I would refuse to do oral presentations and just ace the written test. It wasn’t until a history teacher, that for some odd reason, structured her class as nothing but speeches, made me face my fear. I was failing a class for the first time in my life, and being a nerd, that always got straight A’s, I had only one option. From that day forward I no longer shied away from speaking in public, even volunteering for extra credit speeches. And now I do stand up comedy so its safe to say that I have conquered that fear.
