We are a young married couple looking to explore the world and leave a creative mark somewhere for someone

ABOUT ME

We are young, married, international couple interested in getting to know what's behind the next countries' border with a slight tendency to the crazy side (not too much, though). We are both interested in creative stuff (photography as a shared hobby). Mariya is a designer with emotional depth. Adrian is a computer scientist somehow founding one startup after the other. We are interested in different cultures, interesting people, good talks and delicious, international food.

PHILOSOPHY

Most of our actions are driven by the desire to leave a dent in the universe. It's the small things that drive the world. Doing good things at this scale will ultimately lead to good things at the larger scale. Making a dent at the larger scale may work, but won't be very sustaining.

Interessi

The next chance to travel abroad and jump right into a new culture is probably one of the most attracting ideas. We are interested in photography (both as art and for telling stories). Being out-the-door is what we try to spend our non-working time with. Usually this involves our bikes and hopefully a tent as well. Sport is always welcome. (Ultimate) Frisbee, Slacklining, biking at various degrees, ...

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Adrian: There are not many situations which leave me awestruck. Top spot: Our wedding. Second spot: Racing down the hill in Sweden with too much luggage on the bikes and "crashing" (metaphorically) into the palace garden suddenly opening before us.
Mariya: The first time Adrian visited me in Bulgaria even though he barely knew me was only topped by our wedding. Empty field watching falling stars, riding a bike down hill, standing on a cliff.

Insegna, impara, condividi

Adrian is a computer whizz. Don't ask him about your problem with microsoft word, since he doesn't really have a clue. But wanna know philosophically what drives the web? He's your man... He's been founding companies for a while and has some insight into how to build a startup. Mariya displays more emotional intelligence in one day, than Adrian will the rest of his life. Impossible to teach, but highly interesting nonetheless.
