My roommate and I have housed people at our LA home to rave reviews. I've yet to couchsurf (I usually rent apartments on airbnb.com, but think I might finally try it).

Doing Literary Death Match in front of 500 people at the Paramount Theatre in Austin is still one of my favorite life moments.

Walking the Great Wall of China makes me think impossible things are possible.

Wandering cities with bright-minded people late at night, tipsy on booze, is always awe-striking to me.
