Sobre mí

My italian-ness (meaning: gesticulating) is reasonably well disguised when I’m abroad; I can’t say the same when I’m back in my home country though (on the plus side: nobody cares there anyway B-)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I really like the idea that travelling is not about ticking boxes, but it's about people and connection. So - even if I've never hosted or been hosted - I've met a number of soulful and funny travellers in the past few years... In other words: the kind of people who makes you feel home even if your hometown is half a world away.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I'm always keen to hear and share some good travel stories. I love to play music when I've got the chance (meaning: pretty rarely). I enjoy to speak in Spanish if I've got the chance, and not because I'm particularly good at that, but just because it's a lot of fun and it reminds me of my own mother tongue! Well... kind of: "il burro" in Italian works well if you want to fry something, but "un burro" in Spanish can work as a mean of transportation (and that's the best-case scenario... and either way not in a kitchen B-) Or: a woman who is "imbarazzata" in Italian doesn't have to be necessarily "embarazada" in the Spanish sense (and vice-versa I guess?)

PS. Jag tycker att det är ganska roligt att försöka ha en konversation där deltagarna kan ett par språk som är liknande i en viss utsträckning, men som samtidigt skiljer sig mellan varandra, typ svenska och norska... för att danska är ju obegripligt B-)
