I am a geography lecturer researching and teaching about human-environment relations and political ecology. I am outdoorsy by trade and by interest, always interested in the people and places I come into contact with, and am friendly and giving.

I travel and for work and research (with an occasional CS), and I host when I can. I have had only a few experiences on CS but they have all been positive. I love the ethos of share and share-alike.

Grew up in Bulawayo and the Matopos Hills of Zimbabwe; rambled around different parts of the world for years; Swam across the Mekong to visit and abandoned temple; Went to a berber horse festival in rural Morocco; Got a Phd in Geography; made numerous students fall asleep in my lectures
