Hey! I’m Adriana. I’m a linguistics student and English teacher. I’m very passionate about traveling, language learning, politics, food, museums, the environment and lots of other things!

I love meeting new people, sharing experiences and points of view with them. I usually talk a lot about politics (especially Mexican and American politics), the environment, feminism, human relationships and travel experiences. I have been traveling throughout Mexico for the past few years so if you plan to either stay for a few days in Mexico City or traveling throughout the country I might be able to give you some tips.

I’m vegan so if you are vegetarian or vegan I could show you the best vegan tacos in town! I love to go out and have nice conversations alongside a cold beer, a warm coffee or anything really. If I have time I can show you around and teach you how to use the subway (if you are up for that).

I have not had the chance to host anyone nor to be a surfer because of the pandemic…I hope that changes soon!

I have been living in Mexico City for 7 years now and I love it! Everyday is a different experience. I love to take long walks with my dog and discover new places. The city has a lot to offer in every sense: the food is marvelous, people are warm and the city overall is just beautiful. And I would love to share the fantastic things this city has to offer with you!

I have been traveling for the last year throughout my country and I’m planning on traveling the world soon. I would like to meet locals since I think that is the best way to really get to know a country! And I would also like to save some money for other travel expenses.

I hope to be able to host soon too! I really like sharing ideas, conversations and more with people from other cultures.

I love going to the cinema (specially to la Cineteca), I enjoy live music as well as dancing, reading fantasy and adventure books. I have a lot of books in my house, if you want to read one while you’re staying here you are free to do so (I love my books so please do not take them with you).

One amazing thing that I’m about to do is going to Rome to study for a semester (autumn 2022). I’m really looking forward to studying abroad, it has been a dream of mine since I was a child!
