Music, Movies, and Books

Movies
Movies are a big part of my life. I watch, collect and work with them. In the last years I more and more improved myself realizing my own short films and produced showreel videos for and together with friends and different social projects.
It's hard to tell you my favorites. My favorite directors are: Michael Haneke, David Lynch, Lars von Trier, Susanne Bier. I love the diversity of Austrian and Danish movies: on the one hand the breathtaking dramas about daily life. On the other hand black humor and provocation.
I started writing my bachelor thesis about the subculture of YouTube and social media. Spend lot's of time watching and producing videos at the moment.

Music
Music is another chapter which is very important for me. Most of the films I love have a great soundtrack and life needs a great soundtrack as well.
At the moment I prefer electronical music but it changes all the time. Also love rock classics, indie rock & post rock. In summary I love spherical and rhythmical music but I'm open to all kinds of music as long as it's not too aggressive.
Some of my friends are professional musicians and I love attending their concerts to film or just be part of the magical atmosphere on stage.
I practiced and played the drums for several years but I wouldn't say that I can play it properly ;) but I still have a good feeling for rhythm.

Books
At the moment I'm not reading a lot. Lost my desire in school and university after being forced to read and write a lot...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is a great feeling to know that you can do everything when you are in the right mood.

I met great people on Vancouver Island - a beautiful and lovely place. I've never met so many friendly and open-minded personalities on such a small range.

And my connection to Australia: in 2009 I met an older couple in the train - they invited me and I passed one week in Warragul close to Melbourne. It was great and I planned to come back. After three years during my round-the-world trip in 2012 I visited them again and we passed another wonderful 2 weeks together. From October 2015 till March 2016 I did my practical semester there and stayed at their place again - it feels like my own family now.
At the end of my stay there Dominik - a good friend of mine - came to visit me and I had the oppurtunity to show him places I really love. We did a road trip from Melbourne to Broken Hill via the Great Ocean Road and explored the beautiful north island of New Zealand.

It's a great feeling to meet people from all over the world to enlarge your network, your family and your personality.

Teach, Learn, Share

I never wanna stop learning. I'm curious and thirsty of knowledge and love to share and extend our wisdom.
