About Me
Hi! Welcome to my CS profile!
I’m Adrian, nice to meet you! I am originally from Spain 🇪🇸 but lucky enough to have lived in different places across the world.
London 🇬🇧 was the city I used to call home on and off for almost 10 years and I still go back to visit whenever I can! There is always time a brew or a tea 🫖 in one of my favorite cites in the world.
Now I am back to Spain, living and working in Malaga, reconnecting with my Spanish roots, at least for now. It is fun to live here because the city is very international, full of energy and people from everywhere but… let’s be honest, the weather beats London’s anytime ☀️.
I’m a nurse by profession but definitely a traveler at heart. Through my work, I have had the chance to live in Gibraltar (a small town in southern Spain that is a British overseas territory, where people speak their own mix of Spanish and English called “llanito” - Spanglish at its finest! Look it up! 😛) as well as in the Caribbean and the Middle East. Experiencing such different lifestyles has given me a nomadic spirit and I feel like a true citizen of the world.
Outside of work, I love exploring new cultures, sharing stories over good food (i’m a proud foodie) and meeting people from all walks of life.
Traveling for me isn’t just about seeing places, it’s about discovering the off-the-beaten path, quirky little gems of each destination, and connecting with people who make the journey unforgettable. Some of those connections last a lifetime.
I’m gay and proudly LGBTQ+ friendly 🏳️🌈, and I Iove being around open-minded, positive, and curious people. Respect, laughter, and authenticity mean a lot to me.
Currently traveling SOLO most of the times. I have recently discovered this and felt more comfortable doing it. It is always nice to meet solo travelers, locals, or people in general.
I’m easygoing, always up for a laugh, a deep conversation about life, a good party, watching the stars, going for a hike or grabbing some wine or beers and heading to the beach 🧀 🍷
Pretty open to any fun, healthy and meaningful plans! You suggest!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, CS is a great and healthy way to connect with people in the places I visit. I travel quite often, especially around Europe (thank you Ryanair! 🤭🤭) and I love using CS to meet locals and other travellers who share that same curiosity and open spirit.
I’m currently (October 2025) on a mission to visit some Christmas markets, because I absolutely love the Christmas spirit and, of course, the chocolate and mulled wine 🍷🎄. Any recommendations?
I feel that in spaces like Couchsurfing, there’s a much higher chance of meeting like-minded people. Those who are kind, genuine, and love enjoying the simple things in life while discovering the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved alone abroad to London when I was 22, with nothing but a suitcase and a dream and, somehow, I managed to build a life across different countries, each one teaching me something new about courage, resilience, and connection.
In 2024, I travelled solo through Colombia 🇨🇴 for two weeks, and it instantly became one of my favourite countries in the world especially because of the people, the energy, the music, and the landscapes. Everything was pure magic… especially the Valle del Cócora 🌴
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer good company and easygoing vibes. I’m independent, polite, and clean, and I always make sure to respect everyone’s space. I’m also pretty quiet (and I don’t snore or at least that’s what they say 😄).
I’m always happy to make plans together, explore the city, or cook something nice — I’m a total foodie, so I might surprise you with a Spanish tortilla, some gazpacho, or even a paella if I’m feeling brave! (Although the last one might be a bit unlikely lol)
I’m also happy to help you also practice some Spanish if you are learning or you just want to learn a few bad words haha. Maybe you can teach me how to dance in return? I try to bring out my latino side but it is not as good as I would like it to be.
If you ever come to Málaga, I’d love to return the hospitality. I used to offer an air mattress back when I lived alone in London but now I share an apartment with another person. Still, I can usually offer an air mattress in my bedroom, a sofa (but it is shared living room so not super ideal, but it works 😅), or even my bed (it’s small though, so probably only in an emergency lol).
I just ask that you’re genuinely into the Couchsurfing spirit and are here to connect, share, and enjoy the experience not just looking for a free place to crash. There are always cheap hostels for that, in my opinion 😅.
I’m also happy to just meet up for a coffee, a walk, or to explore the city hosting isn’t always necessary to have a good Couchsurfing experience.
