ABOUT ME

I stay unbelievably busy between full-time work and school, but my goal for now is to make it out of the country at least once a year. I look forward to more extensive backpacking and wandering adventures once I complete my degree. Until then, hoping to host occasionally when I can and meet with visitors to NYC who share my love of travel!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music obsessed! Current favorites: Zero 7, Radiohead, The Walkmen, Dmitri Shostakovich, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Stevie Wonder, CéU, Federico Aubele, Nirvana, The Roots. Partial to odd time-signatures, Latin rhythms, and sound that's a little rough around the edges.

Other than a good dystopian novel, I much prefer the more "boring" fact-based books to fiction. But I'm in love with Orwell and his essays... read "Politics and the English Language"!
