I am from the Toronto area but spent the last eight months living in London UK doing an internship with an environmental conservation organization and also working in one of London´s child protection service offices while finishing school.

I am easy going, fun, compassionate and love to meet new people. Happiest with a coffee, a glass of wine, a good book or a nice view (or any combination thereof).

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I was recently exposed to the world of couchsurfing while traveling through Iceland with a good friend. I was received by a lovely host and had a great experience which really sparked my interest in couchsurfing. I have just completed my undergraduate degree and will be spending a few months traveling in various parts of Europe this summer, before returning to work in September. I would love to get to know different people and places in this way and love the idea of hosting people as well, once I return from my travels. I think that couchsurfing is a great way to experince a new place and to see what life is like for people in different parts of the world.

I´m interested in social justice, human rights, and a lot of the more serious elements of life. But I also love to have fun and enjoy the small things in life as well. I like art and music, I enjoy the occasional movie (although I'm nothing close to a movie buff), I like math, I enjoy the outdoors, I love spending time with others and of course - it probably goes without saying - but I love to travel and learn about new cultures as well.

I´m sure there are so many! Most recently though, I read an autobiography by Maya Angelou called 'I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings' which I really appreciated. I´m not sure about favourite movies (I´m horrible at choosing favourites) but I´ve got a few favourite TV shows - Seinfeld, The Office, Fresh Prince, Breaking Bad, Departures and Game of Thrones.

I love music of all different kinds and honestly find it almost impossible to pin down a favourite genre let alone a favourite artist!

A warm and illustrious personalty, what more could you want?? I´m only kidding... I love to share stories and experiences, but on a more practical note I also love to cook and am more than happy to cook with or for others. I´m sure there´s lots more that I could share and I´m always open to suggestions! Moreso, I would love to share my home with those that wish to visit, once I am finished my travels in September.
