I'm a 30 years old guy working in IT as a software engineer. I do love all kinds of sports (skiing, skydiving, cycling, running, paragliding, etc.) and travelling (which, sadly, I've only recently began to do, but I intend to catch up as quickly as I can!). I also love board games (and I do have a small but steadily growing collection)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I do love discovering other cultures, and I've decided to go travel abroad and discover them on my own... to me, the best way to do so is to live amongst the locals, hence my presence on Couchsurfing :)
So I'm open to see the daily life from inside, and I'll be glad to enable people to discover the French culture at the same time, be it through cuisine, tourism or simply language.

Movies: All kinds, but my favorites would be the ones with an elaborate plot or which leads to profound questions (i.e. Akira, Appleseed, Chappie, Fight Club, Her, Interstellar, Watchmen, Whiplash)
Music: All kinds too, with a small preference for electro, metal & rock (Rone, Muse, Orden Ogan, Chapelier Fou, Madeon)

I consider myself to be quite talented with languages, and I'm currently learning Japanese: I would absolutely love to practice with a native, but I am also interested in many other languages from Asia.

I can share my knowledge of Lyon, french capital of gastronomy, and its numerous restaurants (I worked part-time as a delivery man so I know the city quite well), and of France in its entirety (although I can not pretend to know all of the country, I have family in almost every region).
