Overview
About Me
I'm kind, respectful, and love to be in good company.
Wanderer at heart, a creative soul. I’ve explored solo across continents—everything from squats and campsites to midnight bus rides to road trips and last-minute flights. These days, my adventures are more along the lines of thrift store treasure hunts and scenic drives, but the spark’s still there.
Connecting with genuine people, swapping stories over good music, and spending time at neat places —whether outdoors, or in a dive bar, an old record shop, or an abandoned building with a story to tell, are all things that I value.
I am drawn to the eccentric, interesting, artsy, misunderstood, and off beat. I value conversation, nature, and laughter. I'm always curious, a lifelong learner.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm heading to New Orleans again soon for an amazing reunion of one of my all-time favorite bands. I always enjoy meeting new people and talking travel, music, and food or going out and about! I thought this would be a much more memorable experience than booking another hotel room. Hoping to use the platform moving forward as I start fitting travel back into my life! I remember Couchsurfing came about right as I was entering a new phase in my life wich just didnt involve much solo travel and remembered it as I started planning out this upcoming trip so here I am :)
Interests
I love screen printing and doing anything creative like stained glass, painting, and making art from trash. I played piano, clarinet, and guitar for many years. Sadly, I haven't played an instrument in so many years but will pick that back up again, I'm sure. I sure listen to a lot of music though and a lot of my travels have been centered around live shows. I love hearing my friends talk about anything that excites them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've broken my neck twice (almost a year to the day apart) and have continued to bounce back from pretty crazy things life has to offer. Surviving is cool n all, but I've been a mom for over 18 years now and still have my hair and something that resembles sanity, and that is also pretty amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share a bit about screen printing, cooking, and music. I love learning and find that most things interest me when the person teaching or sharing is passionate about it. I can teach you to knit and would love to learn to crochet. If you're in AZ, I'm happy to share cool places to visit if you're into hidden gems, dive bars, record shops, parks, abandoned buildings, etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation, craft buddy, a playlist to dive into, or peace and quiet, you pick! I'm easygoing and low maintenance. I am also up for helping with projects. Yes, even the one you've been procrastinating!
