Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first heard of couchsurfing through a roommate who hosted visitors in a cooperative house where we lived in Ithaca, NY. Living in this house (with a dozen other students from almost as many different countries) is what got me excited about this sort of community project. Sharing conversation and meals with such a diverse group of people was such a great experience...

Music, Movies, and Books
movies: Rushmore, Blue Velvet, Fargo, anything by Almodovar
music: I love too much music, I can't choose favorites! but a very incomplete list would include: David Byrne, Bob Dylan, The Smiths, The Arcade Fire, Phillip Glass, Tom Waits, Metric, Pavement, The Pixies, Johnny Cash...
books: To The Lighthouse, Howards End, The Secret History
Also, I am a public radio junkie. NPR, PRI, BBC, Deutschland Funk--I will consume any and all of it.
Also, I don't really watch television but my favorite television program of all time is Twin Peaks, which I like to watch on video, marathon-style.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I used to work as a writing tutor/freelance editor so I can provide assistance with grammatical issues---but it might be more fun to cook together...
