I am a fun loving twenty six years old girl who is currently working as a journalist in Indian Express, New Delhi. I love reading books. I am especially drawn towards historical fictions and travelogues. I hope to write a travelogue some day. I have a large range of interests in movies, music and travelling. Recently i have developed an interest in oral histories which is basically a practice of collecting personal histories of people's lives through what they have to say of their experiences. I hope to master the art of interviewing people for their life histories and meeting new people through travelling is a way I am trying to achieve it.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have traveled extensively in India, the United States and the United Kingdom. Its only recently that I have started travelling internationally. My purpose of being in couchsurfing is to increase my scope of travelling and of broadening my friends circle through meeting new people. Also, I believe that the experience of travelling in a new country is best when you get to soak in its culture which is possible only when you interact with the residents of the country. Couchsurfing would enable me to get a better travel experience. At the same time I am willing to host people in my current location at New York and can show them around the city as well. My brief experience of living in New York has taught me much about American culture and I would love to share it with people from other countries.
