CURRENT MISSION

I plan on visiting the Scandinavian area (particularly Sweden) hopefully within the next decade (I'm 22 and my goal is to get there before I'm 30) to do firsthand research on ancient Norse culture for a Viking film I plan on writing eventually.

ABOUT ME

Massive film enthusiast (cinephile) and also big fan of music (particularly heavy metal). Just graduated from college, aspiring to be a writer/director eventually and break into the film industry...possibly do some acting and producing on the side.
If I get a career in doing what I love I may want to settle down by teaching film history eventually.

Movies: Classics and art films are my favorites (i.e. Ingmar Bergman, Stanley Kubrick, Kurosawa...transcendental film-making and anything else of superior quality)
Music: Heavy Metal, specifically folk, symphonic/classical, and progressive-influenced - mostly from Scandinavia (my favorites are Sonata Arctica and Opeth)
Books: A lot of science-fiction/philosophically-related, favorite author being Philip K. Dick
