I am new to couchsurfing but very excited for the opportunity.

Interests

I enjoy learning about all aspects of different cultures and people. My favorite aspect of learning about other cultures is trying new food. I am always up for trying something new and enjoy everything from Mexican food to Ethiopian food.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On January 25th of this past year I had the opportunity to witness firsthand an absolutely incredible spectacle as hundreds of thousands of Egyptians packed Tahrir Square in Cairo to celebrate the first anniversary of their revolution that toppled the previous regime and at the same time protest against military rule, whilst pushing for greater political reform. Amongst the masses, children sat on their parents shoulders waving flags, vendors sold nuts, and young revolutionaries chanted "down, down with the military rule." The sights and sounds of January 25th will forever remain in my memory.
