ABOUT ME

Traveling Chicago to wherever till September!

My name is Brian and I wasn't named after anyone in particular so I'm seeking to give this first generation name some adventures to live up to. I'm 27 years old and haven't really ever stepped far from my backyard till now. I eventually realized I was a small plant that had long outgrown its pot. So I'm uprooting, shaking the dirt off, and planting myself in the world for a while.

I'm probably best known for being passionately curious about the world around me, making people feel comfortable, and my endearingly cheeky personality. I'm always excited to try new things and enjoy digging up adventures where ever I find myself. I'm friendly, honest, loyal, and thoughtful.

I really hoping to meet new and interesting people, experience new cultures, and through these, develop as a person.
I'm so looking forward to meeting you.

PHILOSOPHY

**On March 1st, at 1259am, I made a promise that I would be Brave. That promise brought me here. Challenge me on it and help me grow. Please.

Some personal philosophies I'm trying to adopt:
If you don't ask the answer is always no.

It's better to ask forgiveness than permission.

Sometimes you have to jump out of the window and grow wings on the way down.

Liberate, don't deliberate!

Let people feel the weight of who you are, and let them deal with it.

The only experience I have couch surfing is the anticipation I have to couch surf

In regards to interests I'm sort of like a chameleon, I find myself in an environment or with a group of people, and blend my interest into whatever I'm doing. In this way I try never to judge something until I've tried it out.
This has led me to adventures in camping, hiking, sky diving, 600 person city-wide all night games of tag, bar hoping, accidentally swimming with sharks, dancing all night, and cliff diving to name a few.
I also enjoy just hanging in to experience good movies, books, wine, beer, and friends.
My interests are as eclectic as my curiosities. Try me.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I used to have lists of movies, books, and music and I realized no one ever reads them all. To name a few..
movies:
Fight Club, Gattaca, Good will hunting, Amelie, Cloud Atlas. If Adventure Time were a movie it would be on the list also.
I like movies with really good plot and character development. If a movie has heart, I'll probably love it.

Music:
Blind Pilot, Bon Iver, The Tallest Man on Earth, Iron and Wine, Alexi Murdoch, Broken Social Scene. I stopped listening to the radio a while back.
I also like podcasts like This American Life, Snap Judgment, and To The Best of Our Knowledge

Books: The Picture of Dorian Grey, Brave New World, Anthem, Harry Potter, American Gods, The Alchemist, Dandelion Wine
