ABOUT ME

I am a very lively and outgoing girl. I love meeting new people, and I have been so fortunate to study here in Montpellier, France. My major is French with a minor in Secondary Education and Italian. What can I say? Foreign language is my thing! I have aspirations of learning many many many more languages. I feel that it is a way in which we help to understand one another in our different cultures, traditions, and daily lives. I would hope that people describe me as someone who is easy to talk to, open-minded, and spontaneous!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that you take one day at a time and learn to see the good in people. That is the only way we can truly unite as human beings and see beyond race, color, and religion.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am spreading the word about couchsurfing to everyone at my university! I can't believe that there is a network specifically designed for bringing people together. It's exactly what we need in today's society.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have much couch surfing experience myself; however, I shared a room with my younger sister until I was sixteen and I have an older brother and an older sister. I'm used to having lots of people over, and I know what it means to be a polite guest!

Interests

My main interest is foreign language - specifically French and Italian. I most definitely won't stop there though. I also love anything to do with different cultures, new people, and life-changing experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - Mean Girls. It's hilarious filled with one liners, but it still has a good message! I know I know.
Music - Anything from Queen to Dolly Parton. You have to have respect for the woman.
Books - I just finished 1984 and it was incredible! Wow. Absolutely thought-provoking and filled with mind-boggling situations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing I've seen thus far are the beaches at Cinque Terre. It's so calming and beautiful. The beauty of this place is absolutely breathtaking. You don't have to be a photographer to get a good shot here.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I think one of my best assets is that I worked for an airline for about a year. I learned the ins and the outs and what really goes on behind closed doors. It's a tough job, but I definitely think I gained some knowledge about traveling in general that anyone can benefit from.
I would love to learn anything about traveling. Best times to go different places, things to see, people to meet. It all interests me, and right now I've been wanting to learn how to cook! I love cooking and want to do more! If anyone has a cool recipe, let me know!
