ABOUT ME

I am terrible at doing these things but here it goes...I am originally from California, but am currently living and studying in Madrid in an attempt to become fluent in the language. I've lived here for about 6 months now and am loving every minute. I am dreading the day I have to leave. I am trying to travel as much as I possibly can while i'm here and experience all the different cultures. This year abroad is my senior year in college, so after this its back to the real world to find a job. I love experiencing different cultures and meeting new people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would be willing to host someone in Madrid, but I am not here that often because of my plans to travel. When I go back to California I would love to host people there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommate and I hosted for the first time last week and it was an awesome experience and I am now more willing to dive deeper into the CS experience.

Interests

Swimming, outdoors, traveling, meeting new people, economics (nerdy I know), reading, immersing myself in different cultures, non-profit organizations, etc

Books:

Music:
I like everything pretty much everything except country. Current favorites are Kings of Leon and MGMT but my Dad has some influence on my musical taste so Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, and Van Morrison are always good choices.

Movies:
a lot of comedies (ferris bueler's day off, Office Space,The Hangover) and then who doesn't like when people die or get blown up? (Gladiator, Death Race)
