About Me

As a guest, I am pretty quiet! (An introvert) and I am also friendly and I love a thoughtful conversation and finding something (at least 1 thing) in common with everyone I meet! I'm an INFJ, Enneagram Type 5 (Tritype 548, or 549...I'm not sure) and I'm an MG Hermit Opportunist in Human Design!

I am an artist currently focused on developing my passion and skill-sets through different mediums, especially writing, photography, and collage.
Here's my website- https://aekbeing.crevado.com/

It's got the best or better quality photos I've taken on my trips. The albums here just have the phone versions mostly, but the website has the ones I've taken my time shooting and editing with my DSLR!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet people and get to know an area through locals, hopefully host people in the future, and budget friendly travel! (I'm also on Couchers.org!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving, Fundraising for and then renovating an entire apartment unit at a women's and children's homeless shelter with the help of volunteers when I was 17, Creating my own therapeutic art activities list and sharing some of them in various volunteer and work settings based on a combination of personal experience and academic/professional knowledge, Staying Alive and Staying Resilient through all of life's curveballs and adversities, Choosing Love over fear.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share all of my therapeutic art activities, Jungian Psychology and other nerdy psychology knowledge as well as practical applications with you! I can lead you through a few guided meditations as well! I've come up with my own curriculum of therapeutic and empowering art activities (no art experience necessary) that I am just always eager to share with anyone who is interested and wants to dabble in some creative and therapeutic self discovery and expression! Eventually, when I am ready, I'd love to go to Naropa to get my Master's in Art Therapy🙂

I'd also love to talk to you about personal and spiritual growth and share stories and hear about some of your wildest travel stories (or just life stories). I love writing and occasionally podcast (not consistent with it) and love doing interviews with people about different topics and going on tangents! I believe in the healing power of storytelling (re-creating the scripts we run through our heads) and imagining (as well as taking action/non-action whenever relevant) a more relaxed and peaceful world!

Also all about somatic healing and reconnecting with our bodies (super important to me as menstruating individual that goes through cycles) and I've begun to live more aligned to the cycles and seasons of my own menstrual rhythms & the natural world (as much as I can in this modern age and my own changing life circumstances).

Love nature. Interested in Tai Chi and getting back into learning that and other energy healing practices. I love being in shaded areas and forest bathing, long walks by the beach, lakes or bodies of water, in the woods or at my favorite local parks! In the next 5 years of my life, I'd like to explore Taoism even more and take some Tai Chi classes or learn other energy healing modalities.

Movement-
I like walking, hiking, dancing alone and with friends, and I would like to do more bouldering and rock-climbing (with baby steps) and get back into martial arts to learn and practice some self-defense techniques I was learning in high-school after receiving my black belt in Taekwondo. I also love driving and long rides, plane rides, and train rides.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I clean up after myself! Great Listener, Compassionate, Kind, Non-Judgmental, Interesting Conversations when I am feeling chatty! Quiet and peaceful/introverted most of the time🙂 Respectful and Communicative about Needs/Questions, Open Minded and Open Communication! No BS!

Countries I’ve Lived In
