Hello! My name ist Aelfie (short for Aelfleda) Clackson and I am currently studying illustration in Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in art, design and history and enjoy travelling to new places and getting to know new people. I know couch surfing from my Mother, who often has people to stay, I think it is amazing to have this opportunity to travel, meet new people and gain new perspectives this way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't listen to much music. At the moment I mostly listen to podcasts, my favourites are: 99 percent invisible, Lore, Graustufen, Creative Pep Talk, Great Lives, The Inquiry and In Our Time.

I have many favourite books, I used to spend a great deal of time reading. I like crime novels, but also books about strange worlds and invented places. One of the most disturbing but interesting books I have ever read is "Geek Love" by Katherine Dunn.
