Hi there, nice to meet you! I'm living together with my dear husband in Emmental, a quiet, beautiful region in the county of Bern. We are both passionate about travelling and often spend our weekends camping around cozy campfires with our friends.

I'm a lab technician and my husband is a mechanic, we both work full time. Apart from that, I love everything creative and meeting interesting people. In winter, I'm knitting socks like a grandma and in summer, you'll often find me outdoors, cycling or on a via ferrata ; ) Meeting my friends is super important for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting people and trying to understand other points of views 🥳 Also, I love couchsurfing for not only seeing a country through the lens of a camera, but also to really learn about allday life and culture. The people we meet make our trips special and meaningful. With some of them, I'm still in contact, they became friends. I want to give something back, that's why I also give my best to host couchsurfers too.

Interests

I'm very interested in all kinds of things such as people, adventures and food ^^ I love languages ;) For me, travelling is also really inspiring for my sketches and for analogue photography. My biggest hobby is pottery. My next big project is to draw a childrensbook for my adorable niece :)

I'm often listening to music and I adore audio books. I like sport (Via Ferrata, hiking, cycling), and I'm always planning the next trip ^^ Some things I wish to do: going on a cycling trip, making a 3 month language exchange to learn spanish, learning to be a beekeeper, deciding weather to have kids or not ^^

Note: My husband and I live in a small apartment in Bigenthal. The Emmental is a quiet (boring?) region with lush hills and small farms. Our apartment is a 5min walk from the nearest train station (49 min. from Bern, the capital of Switzerland). Careful: the train only stops on request!
