About Me

CURRENT MISSION

follow my dream...

ABOUT ME

I not only travel the world but the languages I encounter and gather new experiences with each word I share and hear. I try to let my musical ear guide my steps ...
Friends might say I am open-minded, warm-hearted, keen on learning about people and their life stories, the world and its story, and if others are open to it, share mine ...

I sing while I cycle, as if no one is listening...

The little things in life deserve more attention ...

PHILOSOPHY

live a life worthy of the air we breath; nurture what needs to grow; gratitude is a privilege - honour it...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i would be glad to meet up for coffee/tea, a meal,(or cook you a meal if you prefer), give you a tour and share stories about travel and all sorts ... as of November I may be able to offer a mattress on the floor or bed. If you do write to me, I will give you an update on the "couch availability" ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

... haven't done any official couchsurfing. This is a new part of my horizon. Inofficially people have stayed on my sofa and I on theirs, but not nearly as large a community as this is! ... am looking forward to be able to connect more and host and be hosted in the future!

Interests

Aside from the obvious of "travelling": cycling, climbing, swimming, love salsa and ballroom dancing anything pretty much with a great rhythm to move to! playing a piano opens my eyes and ears a little bit wider, reading insightful and experimental writing and writing creatively (poems and short-stories), eco-friendly living, different accents, discovering meaning, intercultural communication, tasty cooking, reflexology and warm weather! just to mention a few ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing at the edge of the Victoria Falls... Simply breath-taking!

Does accidentally doing 2 1/4 sommersault off a 3m diving board count?(not to be recommended though!)

Teach, Learn, Share

teach: languages, piano, drums, origami, cooking some delicious meals, golf and anything useful I am able to...
learn: languages, new dance moves(salsa, tango, maybe more), how to climb what i haven't climbed before...suprise me ;) ?
share: time is the most precious thing i can share, beyond this anything from thoughts, knowledge, motivation, joy et cetera...
