About Me
Hi, I’m Tony – a proud Afro-Latino from the Dominican Republic, based in Hamburg,. I moved to Germany as a teenager, and it has been a truly multicultural journey that has shaped my passion for bringing people together, which is why I’ve organized and led numerous intercultural and cultural events.
At the moment, I work as a teacher at a public vocational school, where I teach Spanish, English, Politics, and Career Orientation. My long-term aspiration is to found my own school – a place where I can apply my own teaching methods, shaped by intercultural experience, creativity, and a deep passion for meaningful education.
At my core, I’m a language lover: I'm a native Spanish speaker fluent in German, English, Portuguese, Italian, and French, and even a little bit of Swahili. I truly believe that every language is a door to a new way of seeing the world.
I’m passionate about history, culture, literature, geography, and all things that connect people across borders. My volunteer work with different NGOs reflects my commitment to social impact, education, and global citizenship.
And outside of work, I'm passionate about Latin music and dance, but also enjoy vibing to reggae, classical, and writing my own songs. I love singing, cooking with friends, playing sports, practicing mindfulness, and connecting with nature – anything that feeds the soul and sparks connection.
