oh. to live life! and at this moment - also to finish my thesis about the Deaf community in Israel

ABOUT ME

I live with my boyfriend and our little old dog in a village close to Jerusalem. I work as a graphic designer, as well as a research assistant at times (mainly in the disability and deaf studies).
I'm an easy going person, my biggest love is to meet new people and new places and learn about different cultures. I'm trying to find at least one friend in every country of the world (done with most of Europe by now ;-) ) I love spontaneous people who are not afraid to show their true self and get silly if necessary.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and seek hosting places
I am also my self appointed ambassador for couch surfing - telling everyone I know about how this is the just the best way to travel the world and meet its people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

well, surfed around Europe, Australia, Nepal, India and Japan. Hosted in Germany and Israel (Jerusalem, Sde Boker (little village in the Negev desert) and now Abu Gosh)
had the most amazing time in almost every experience, and I can't wait to have more.

兴趣

Hiking, drawing (Illustration instagram: instagram.com/afroot.is.here), reading, photographing (instagram.com/afroot.is.photographing), cinema, meeting new people, discovering new worlds.

movies: call me by your name, lady bird, the princess bride (book and movie), Donnie Darko, Pricilla Queen of the Desert, Hedwig and the Angry inch, Charlie and the chocolate factory (old and new), Tim Burton, Cohen Brothers. city of god, oh.. there are so many!

music: very diverse! everything from Mac Miller and Missy Elliot, to Harry Styles and Michael Jackson (these are just the first names I ahd in mind..). From Bach and Vivladi to North African Music. if it's good, I will give it a chance!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

seeing the sunrise on Mt. Karkom in Israel's desert (who some believe it to be Mt. Sinai, from the bible) - on a what used to be a chalcolithic temple, filled with human figurines.
