Overview
About Me
I am a teacher of embodiment writing workshops and I busk on the streets as an impromptu poet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I do my impromptu poetry performance on the street, people approach me for a poem on a particular topic and I write it on the spot. I don't name a price, the customer pays whatever they think is appropriate. I have had such amazing experiences working and living in this gift economy that I want to continue to meet people who are willing to connect with a stranger, feel they have something to offer and not be certain that they will get something in return. It's increased my trust in other people and the world, it's made me feel connected to the beauty and joy of being human.
Interests
I love nature, rock climbing, hiking and dance! Reading and writing, of course. Just as likely to want to go out dancing or stay in playing board games.

Music, Movies, and Books
This is hard, as I like almost everything but my most favorite music is trip hop, my favorite genre of books is science fiction and my favorite movie ever (it's hard to decide!) is Amelie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled by mountain bike by myself in the South of France. I had never done something so physically demanding and especially not by myself! It's one of my proudest accomplishments.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing poetry, dance and embodiment forms, knowledge about and connections in the places I've lived and traveled.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm happy to contribute food, drink, help with chores and, of course, a lot of poetry!
