Hello! I am a college student who has recently returned from a four-month long study abroad program in Florence, Italy. I managed to travel to six countries in Europe as well as most of Italy, and it is safe to say I caught the travel bug. I am fascinated by ancient Roman and Medieval history, and I would love to travel to as many history-rich cities as I can (as well as culturally diverse). I would like to use Couchsurfing as a means of meeting people and immersing myself in their culture.

I will be returning to Europe with my dad this coming March, and I would love to try Couchsurfing as an option for the both of us. I only opted for hostels and airBnBs when I had previously traveled in Europe, and I feel like I would prefer a more local experience this time around. My dad and I are low-maintenance and all around pretty chill people, and we are just looking to meet some friends during our short journey abroad!

Intereses

I am from Cape Cod, which is a large island off of Massachusetts. I grew up by the sea and have fallen in love with it over and over again. I also recently took up cooking, and am trying my hand at more diverse dishes than I normally would have made. I play tennis, write, hike (casually) and try to complete my schoolwork as best I can!

I like mellow rock - Dispatch, Sublime, OAR, John Butler Trio; I also enjoy acoustic rock - John Mayer, Jack Johnson, etc. My favorite movie is Fried Green Tomatoes. My favorite book is a light-hearted quick read called Hitchhiking with Larry David.

My friends tell me I am a good listener, but I also enjoy conversing about anything and everything. I love getting to know a person's story, and I am willing to listen to whatever the person feels comfortable sharing with me. I can share a knowledge of global issues as well a comedic insight on current affairs and pop culture. Basically, I like to converse, learn from others, and have a good time.
