CURRENT STATUS: I haven't been on CS in a while as I've been traveling for the last year. I recently purchased and built out a sprinter van (with solar power, kitchen, sink, storage, and full sized bed) allowing me to travel and comfortably live in my van. I'm in the Seattle area occasionally and am happy to meet up, go snowboarding/hiking/climbing, or just grab a drink. Unless you want to also sleep in the van, I don't really have accommodations for guests at this time.

I'm in the mountains snowboarding, hiking, or backpacking every weekend. About half of that time, I'm out of town doing said activities. If that's your thing, you're welcome to join. If not, I can still host provided I'm in town. I just may not be available much.

After a decade of alternating between contracting and traveling, in 2014 I took a full time job that I love. While this does limit my ability to travel as much, it allows me the opportunity to open my place to more travelers. I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people, sharing my community, and hearing about others' travels.

My spare time is split between snowboarding, hiking/camping, seeing live music, and attending random events throughout the city. In addition to being on the Board of Directors for a local community based volunteer organization, at various times throughout the year I help produce fundraising events for local community art related non-profit organizations. I'm also work at Burning Man for a couple of months most summers on DPW.

Community-based Art
I am on the board of a local volunteer organization that focuses on creative solutions to produce a positive impact on the community. Throughout the year I also help organize and produce several large fundraising events for local community arts based non-profits.

Hiking/Backpacking
During the summer, I am hiking or backpacking almost every weekend. You're totally welcome to join. Occasionally I have the opportunity to go rafting.

Snowboarding
During the winter, if there is fresh powder or if I have a day off, I'm on a nearby mountain.

Experiencing Life
I travel, enjoy live music, adventure into the wilderness, visit new areas, and attend obscure events. All for one purpose: new experiences.

Burning Man
I have been going to Burning Man since 2001 and love the event so much that for the last 8 years I've spent 2 months each year in the desert with DPW helping make the event happen and then cleaning up after everybody leaves.

I listen to mostly punk, some metal, ska, deep house, funk, and dub. I will go see any kind of music live.

I'm not a huge movie buff, but I tend to enjoy snowboarding movies, documentaries, and social commentary.

I went to Peru in 2008 to travel through the jungles for a few weeks. I ended up spending the next 7 months working with a disaster relief volunteer organization helping the people of Pisco after the 2007 earthquake that nearly leveled the town.
