About Me

important: i will start hosting in September!

hej! my name is Aga and i’m turning 20 this year:) i’m currently during my gap year - a year that taught me more then i excepted. i worked as an aupair in northern sweden, lived under the northern lights and learned that growth often happens outside of comfort zones.
i’m curious about people and their stories. i love long conversations, spontaneous plans and quiet mornings with a coffee, book and nature. i’m somewhere between being practical and being a dreamer.
i value kindness, honest and good energy. i’m not full time party traveler, i prefer meaningful moments

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i’m on couchsurfing, because i believe traveling is about people, not places. i want to experience cities through conversations, shared meals and real connections. my gap year showed me how much strangers can change your perspective and i’d love to continue that. i’m not here just to save money on accommodation. i’m here to exchange stories and perspectives

Interests

psychology of people’s choices, personal growth, books that make you think, mountains, cold northern landscapes, cheap flights, learning new languages, deep talks and building a life that feels intentional

Music, Movies, and Books

my favorite polish band is Myslovitz, i never get bored of them. my playlist is over 22 hours long and still growing.
one serie that i would recommend to anyone is “Prison break” - i watched it 3 times and if they didn’t deleted it from netflix, i would start watching 4th time. also i love old movies and old romcoms from 80s, 90s and 2000s, they are perfect comfort for a bad day.
in books i’m drawn to deeper, slight melancholic writes as Dostoevsky, Kafka.
one of my favorites is “The Master and Margarita” by Mikhail Bulgakov. next book on my list is “The Count of Monte Cristo” recommended by customer when i worked in a bookstore

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i would say choosing grown over comfort- even when i wasn’t sure if i was ready and also leaving behind a version of myself that was too afraid to try

Teach, Learn, Share

i can share polish culture, polish dishes, language basics and a lot of curiosity. i’d love to learn how people actually live in different countries, real daily life. and i’m especially interested in personal stories, what made you chose your path? what risks were worth is? what would you tell your 20 years old self?

What I Can Share with Hosts

i can share good energy, laughing at random things, respect for your space and rules and meaningful conversations (or comfortable silence). i’m happy to cook something polish, help with daily tasks or just bring a positive presence
