ABOUT ME

I'm a cheerful, active, energetic, open and easy-going person who tries to enjoy every day of life, loves spending time with friends and meeting new people. I graduated from surveying and cartography at the University of Science and Technology in Krakow and I have recently come back from a eight-month travel around South America with my husband, Sławek. This was our biggest adventure!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly surfing, sometimes hosting and recommending CS to all travelling friends :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During the last hitch-hiking trip around Spain (August 2010) me and my friend were hosted in Madrid. In Zaragoza a CS-friend spent an evening with us and showed us around the city centre. I showed a few people from CS around Krakow when they came to visit and once we hosted a girl from USA. In South America me and my husband surfed a few couches: in Salta (Argentina), Santiago (Chile), Quito (Ecuador) and Rio de Janeiro (Brasil). Every time awesome people and great experience :)

Intereses

Travelling and all the fun connected with it - learning other cultures, meeting new people, visiting beautiful places, the feeling of freedom and independence, adventures and the memories after you finally are back home.

Music and dance - I play flute (I take it everywhere I go and sometimes make money by playing on the street) and used to play piano. I listen to different types of music but what I appreciate most is live one. I'm also really into parties with lots of dancing :)

Tourism and sports - a bunch of outdoor activities: hiking in mountains, kayaking, riding a bike, skiing, rollerskating, swimming, jogging, a little of climbing...

Reading books and watching movies, art, psychology and generally socializing.

Algo increíble que he hecho

In Salar de Atacama I saw more stars than in my whole life altogether. And it was the most silent silence I have ever heard.
I think our journey to South America was pretty amazing. We were totally broke afterwards but it was abosultely worth spending our life savings.
