HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually, I heard this website from Eric who was my landlord when I was in Toronto. He's a host, too.

During my stay in his home, I met a lot of amazing guys who come from Denmark, Germany, Austria, Spain, France, the United Kingdom and so on.

Honestly, it is such a fascinating experience for me.So I wanna give it a try and make new friends when I come back to Taiwan.

Currently, I'd like to host people in Taichung as it is also a kind of traveling experience to meet new friends. I can show you around of Taichung, experience Taiwanese cultures and take you to taste delicious Taiwanese traditional food. We can also share our traveling experiences to each other.

So welcome to Formosa - a Beautiful Island. This is what a group of Portuguese sailors, said to have been the first Westerners to lay eyes on the island, uttered upon seeing Taiwan for the first time.

Intereses

I love reading books, watching movies, visiting art exhibitions and traveling. It is no doubt that travel can broaden your horizon. I want to discover and explore the world more. It is fascinating to know diverse cultures and learn different languages.

Currently, I'm learning cooking and French! There're a lot of things I'm eager to know and learn.

I enjoy learning to make sure I make progress each day.

As for sports, I like to go jogging and go hiking on weekends.

What's more, I love to do volunteer work because I feel joyful and happy when I help people.

I'd say staying in Canada for more than 8 months is an awesome and wonderful journey for me. Since Toronto is such a diverse and multi-cultural city, I had a lot of opportunities to meet interesting people and had a better understanding about other cultures. It's so fascinating.
