PHILOSOPHY

I almost died in an accident when I was 15. A lot of people say "Live every day like it could be your last", but I truly believe it and live this way. It is a major reason why I have traveled extensively.

Hosting, traveling, local events

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since joining in October, I have hosted several CS-ers. I have not yet participated as a traveler.

I moved to London this summer, and I plan to continue hosting people plus travel extensively while there.

兴趣

If I am traveling, an ideal day involves a breakfast pastry, a great museum, natural beauty (park, vista), some time for wandering the streets and something unexpected to happen, and a meal with friends.

Art: I've been to many art museums around the world and make regular trips to NYC and other places to see art exhibits

Film: besides watching a lot of new and classic movies all year, I belonged to a monthly film club in Philly plus I go to a couple film festivals every year

Cooking: examples of things I cook often - pretzel buns, steak with wine sauce, pasta sauce, meatballs, Japanese style fish with rice, Moroccan style lamb, crispy kale chips

New York City: I lived here in the past and visit regularly, and if you are going to NYC later, I have a lot of recommendations about lesser-known museums, restaurants, nature/parks, comedy shows, etc to see there
