Colors, the roundness of the world and its workings, tasting new foods (oh I love all kinds of food!), talking to plants, animals and inanimate objects, visual and all kinds of artists, illustrated books, music, travel.

音乐、电影和书籍

I love children's books and I collect them. I find that sometimes life's greatest mysteries as much as life's simplest joys are not so distant from one another and that is what I often find reflected in children literature.

Some of my favourites ones are:

I would love to sit on a park on a sunny day and read them to you! :)

Music: I rarely find myself loving every aspect of a band or genre of music, I'm more into specific songs no matter where they come from or how they sound like. Songs that call to me, or connect to a moment in my life. Or make me dance.

(However) there are a few bands or artists I am currently happy to listen to: The Talking Heads, Leonard Cohen, Mø, Lowell Fulson, Dan Deacon... And searching for new ones still.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Lived for a month with an indigenous community in the middle of the Colombian jungle. Kept a drawing diary of it. Rescued a doggie there that is now living with me and making me smile every day.

Floated in a pond of warm water surrounded by dragonflies of every color.

Once pet a wild hummingbird in the belly without capturing it or it getting scared. I felt so happy! :)

Stumbled, fell, and stood up again. (oh, this has been happening a lot lately!)
