Every quarter I am trying to take 1 or 2 long international trip: Asia - Pacific or 2-3 short trips to Latin America or domestic trips (I'll try to visit Europe or Middle East east next year). If I have more time, I travel once a month.

I am working on Million Miler status - long-term loyalty to Continental/United Airline. I try to fly 1st class with coach class fare (b/c I don't want to pay for the 1st class)

Currently a Ph.D. student in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering.

I love nature: tropical, volcanic, mountainous islands ringed with rugged cliffs, glistening beaches, and biologically rich coral reefs; and national parks and national forest in USA

i'm looking for legit travel buddies. My style: Nature + Adventure + Recreation. I'm not really a touristy type traveler and I usually like exploring hidden gems locals recommend (not necessarily camping or hiking) also i like seeing some historic sites as well.
