In addition to the Albanian, Turkish culture had the chance to also merge with the Italian culture while living/studying in the United World College of the Adriatic in Duino/Trieste/Italy.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Most of the summers i spend around the Balkans, I try to stay more in Prizren. An historic old city filled with good people, culture and festivals. Situated in the South of Kosovo, near with the Albanian border.
During the summer i spend most of the time at my parent's house in which i was given more privacy and live in the top floor. I would like to host people who come in Prizren to visit and learn more on the history of the city. At the same time, i myself travel a lot so Couchsurfing offers an amazing opportunity to meet locals, who i consider are the ones that give every place the spirit. Something you would not find in a tour guide or touristic books. I go with the idea of being a traveler rather than a tourist.

I have dealt with local environmental issues in Kosovo by also organizing awareness camps in national parks.

I can share lots of Turkish tea and lovely conversations on topics such as environment,science and green politics. Exchange of knowledge on cultures as I myself have had the chance to learn about other cultures while attending the United World College.
