ABOUT ME

Agnes
:
This journey is my first time out of europe, mainly because there is so much to visit and experience to fill a lifetime of short vacations there and the moment never seemed right to pause everything, leave it all behind and just take off for a long period of time..untill Jannik and me decided to do exactly that and go, no matter what..and now we are somewhere out there, going where the wind and the endless opportunities of the world take us..maybe they will take us to your home? maybe we will just meet up at a cool place and get to know each other or share some adventures..?
I'm outgoing, spontaneouse and always interested in cultural happenings and art.. Learning to cook or bake something new (and then eat it with a good glass of wine or a cool beer) is one of my favorite things to do.

Jannik:
I'm a traveler from Germany, who wants to see the world and experience different cultures. Bevor I started this journey, I finished my diploma in mechanical engenering. I'm always interested in meeting interesting people and sharing some good stories.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted several couchsurfers in our shared flat back in the university days over my roommate's account, many just for a few days, some stayed for weeks, and it was always a great experience.
Whenever I (Agnes) surfed at somebody's place I met the most wonderful people in places I would have never seen otherwise and had the best conversations.
We spent the whole week of TET celebrations (new year) couchsurfing in Vietnam. This wonderful, kind people, that welcomed us into their families and shared everything with us, will stay in our hearts forever.

Agnes: Saving up, packing my backpack, straping on my sturdy boots and leaving the familiar europe for the unknown of the world..

A scientific explanation for and a spiritual view on everything. Among all the dishes I like to make for my awesome hosts, my addictive apple-caramel-pie deserves a special mentioning.. believe me, you want this pie in your life. ;-)
