About Me

Hello,

I'm Agnieszka, but you can call me Aga. I live in Poznań. When I was a student I live in a dorm in 3-bed room. Now I rent a room in shared flat and finally I can be a host. So I just started using CS.

I'm explorer type. I love trying something new (music, food, drinks, activities, languages, hobby, etc). I get bored very quickly so i often change my interests. One day i learn to play guitar, other day i'm crazy about healthy lifestyle and gym, and another day I spend time making art.

I am a real music freak. I listen polish rock/electro/alternative mostly but I will be glad if you show me your fav band or song. And I love live concerts.

I read a lot of books (crime stories, popular-science, about World War and sometimes travel books). I am a fan of Sherlock Holmes. Sometimes I take a break from books to watch series. My bests are Lucifer, How I met your mother, Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones.

And my third passion is cooking. And food. I really love it. My speciality is polish cuisine of course. And I'm a master of scrambled eggs (ex. with chorizo or a'la burrito). So I can teach you how to make a polish "schabowy", or pea soup, or we can make "pierogi" together. I guarantee you will love it.

And few words about my travel life. I always dreamed about being traveller, visiting other countries, places but I was afraid to make a first move. I had a many excuses (no money, no time, no travel companion etc). But one day I bought a tent, backpack and went to the sea, alone, by hitchhiking. And it was a breakthrough. I worked on my english skills, I'm not scary about travelling alone and I know that I don't need million dollars to be happy. I prefer low-budget travelling (hitchiking, cheap flights, CS, hostels) because it's more real. I like visiting big cities and small cozy towns, spending time on nature, visiting museums, monuments, admiring the architecture, walking in the mountains, sunbathing on the beach and everything that is worth to see. I like to have a plan for sightseeing but I like more changing this plans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because it's the best way to travelling. CS it's about meeting people, spending time with them, sharing experiences, meeting new culture, getting to know a real life in countries/cities/places, practicing languages, learning something new and helping each other.

I never used CS before but in Poland we have a fb group whisch is similiar to this portal and I was a guest and a host few times and it was amazing. So now, I have my own room, I feel more comfortable with my English and I want to start my CS experience.
